In 1971, Harvey L. Hall had a vision, to provide the people of Bakersfield and Kern County with the absolute best in prehospital care. With a $15,000 bank loan, two ambulances and his private residence service as his base of operations, Hall Ambulance Service was born.

Through the years, the Company has grown to be amongst the largest privately owned ambulance companies in the state of California. In addition, Hall Ambulance has often served as an innovator for a vast number of patient care enhancements, beginning with the implementation of Paramedics in 1975.

 

 

 

Exclusive Operating Areas

Hall Ambulance Service is the 9-1-1 paramedic provider for 87% of Kern County, California-- an area equal in size to the state of New Jersey.

The Company operates under a performance based contract with the County of Kern.
